Group Classes:

Currently we have the following groups for kids 6-10 years old:
Wednesday 5 pm (Tarzana) - Sandbox (Now enrolling) - up to 4 students

The Sandbox Group is designed as the starting point for young players ages 6-10. Its focus is on teaching proper fundamentals — grip, footwork, coordination, and basic rally skills. Children remain in this group until they have developed the consistency and readiness required to progress to the next level.

Wednesday 6 pm (Tarzana) - High performance (Currently Full)

The Elite Group is a drill-based, high-performance training program for players ages 6–10 who demonstrate strong potential and commitment to tennis. Sessions are structured around technical and movement-focused drills designed to build efficient stroke mechanics, advanced footwork patterns, and overall athletic coordination. Training prioritizes quality repetitions, attention to detail, and physical engagement rather than match play. This group is intended for players who are developing a serious training foundation and preparing for future competitive pathways, including the transition to structured point play, tournament environments, and long-term performance development.

Sunday 9.30 am (Tarzana) -  High performance up to 4 students

The Recreational Group is a standard training program for players ages 6–10 who have progressed beyond the beginner stage and can already sustain basic rallies. Sessions combine structured drills with controlled rally-based exercises to reinforce technique in a more dynamic setting. Training focuses on improving consistency, footwork, coordination, and overall game understanding while maintaining a balanced and enjoyable training environment. This group is designed for steady, long-term development and helps players continue improving without the pressure of high-performance or competition-focused programs.

Sunday 6 pm (Tarzana) - Orange Ball (Enrolling by assessment)

The Elite Orange Ball Group is a high-performance program for young players ages 6–8 who train with the goal of competing in USTA Junior Circuit Orange Ball tournaments. This group welcomes children who already play Orange Ball matches as well as those who are preparing to enter competitive play and want structured, growth-focused development.

This Orange Ball group is built around structured point and match play rather than simple rallying. Training emphasizes applying technique under real point pressure, developing efficient footwork for recovery and court positioning, and learning the basics of point construction, including direction, depth, and decision-making. Players are introduced to early competitive habits such as scoring awareness, match routines, and consistent physical engagement. The goal is to help each player understand how points and matches are actually played, progress confidently through the Orange Ball pathway, and build a solid foundation for the transition to Green Dot and full-court competitive levels.
